Master in Global Management
Born in Puerto Rico of Cuban immigrants. Finished high school in Miami and Mechanical Engineering in Florida Atlantic University (BSME). Completed a Master in Business Administration – Global Management from the University of Phoenix.
Worked for Komatsu America as a Service Engineer to Latin America from 1989 through 1992, an Equipment Manager in South Florida for American Engineering and Development Corporation from 1992 through 1997, and for the past 21 years I have worked for John Deere Construction and Forestry Company in the areas of Customer Support and Training.
For most of the last 30 years I have had interactions with most countries in Latin America. The only countries I have not visited have been Belize, Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Paraguay, and Suriname. During this time I have studied the economic cycles and development of different countries throughout Latin America, and have also developed working relationships with many immigrants from the region. These experiences enable me to have a first hand and deep understanding of why so many immigrants come to the US, and the root causes of this phenomena.
My personal and work experiences and personal research have also enabled me to experience how the immigrants are integrated into the North American melting pot and tapestry, in most cases enriching the local diversity and economy.
