Ursula Pfeiffer is an award-winning content executive, journalist, producer, and writer. Her work has been recognized with some of the most prestigious awards in media and journalism, including five Sports Emmys, an Edward R. Murrow Award, a NAMIC Vision Awards, and several New York Festivals medals.
Born in Eugene, Oregon, to an American father and Peruvian mother, Ursula experienced a multicultural world even before globalization and interconnectivity were everyday buzzwords.
She began her career in journalism writing news chronicles and special reports for the Diario El Mundo, in Lima, Peru. Later, she transitioned into network TV, first as a feature reporter, and then as an investigative reporter and news anchor. In 2000, Ursula returned to the United States with her family, working as an editor, producer, and eventually Executive Producer at leading media corporations, such as Univision and ESPN.
Ursula’s main focus at this time is the empowerment of journalists and communicators, and she has developed eight courses in journalism with this objective in mind. The first course, The Art of the Interview launches October 2018.
She is also the host of a weekly Spanish-language podcast, Rapunzel en la Torre, and has a bicultural/bilingual website www.ursulapfeiffer.org.
